This week’s top debut is Jessie J’s “Bang Bang” which sold 250,000 downloads on its first week out. Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” is expected to take the #1 spot next week thanks to growing airplay and streaming points. Another newsworthy debut is Katy Perry’s “This Is How We Do” at #88, mostly thanks to the music video premiere.

The Billboard 200 is very debut-heavy this week, with 6 of the top 10 albums being new entries. With around 120k copies sold, Hypnotic Eye is Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ first #1 in 37 years since their debut in 1977. It’s also their best sales week since the inception of SoundScan in 1991.

Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts” also debuts at #50, marking the 4th song from her self-titled album to appear on this chart.
“Fancy” is the only song in the top 10 to also appear on the Billboard Hot 100 top 10.
