Fergie eyes a 2015 album release

Eight years after the release of her solo debut The Dutchess, Fergie is finally getting ready to release new solo music.

In an appearence on the television show Chelsea Lately, the singer confirmed she’s been working on a new album and now there are speculations about a possible 2015 release, with a new single possibily dropping by the end of this year.

The album is reportedly including collaborations with Mike WiLL Made It, who has recently become a prominent name in the industry, producing a number of Rap and R&B hits, as well as being heavily involved in Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz last year as an executive producer.

The Dutchess, released in 2006, was a successful album spawning five top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 (including the #1 hits “London Bridge,” “Glamorous” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry”) and earning a 3x Platinum certification by the RIAA for shipments of 3 million copies to retailers in the US.
