Wiz Khalifa continues to hold off Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” which advances fast at radio. “Cheerleader” is this week’s big gainer as it advances to the top 5 thanks to a 18% gain in sales (up 3-2 on Digital Songs) and surges in streaming and airplay (up to #6 and #12 respectively).

45 years after he first debuted in 1970 James Taylor earns his first #1 album. Before This World is his 17th studio album and it sold 96,000 to land at the top of the chart this week.

Adam Lambert debuts at #3 with his 3rd album. This is his third top 10 release, including his 2012 sophomore Trespassing. Hilary Duff returns to the top 10 after 8 years with her 4th album. Her last album, Dignity, peaked at #3 in 2007.

fun. lead singer Nate Ruess enters the chart at #7 with his solo debut record. Grand Romantic sold 28,000 copies and it’s the second album to be released by one of the band’s members: last year Jack Antonoff released his solo record Bleachers (under the stage name of Bleachers) and peaked just outside the top 10 at #11.
