Justin Bieber dominance continues in the top 5, while the Hot 100 salutes a new entry in the top 10: twenty one pilot’s “Stressed Out” climbs to #9 thanks to increased digital sales (159,000 downloads sold, up 95%) and radio and streaming activity. The track has been #1 on the Rock chart for the past 2 weeks and on top of the Alternative chart for 9 weeks.

With “Love Yourself” replacing “Hello” at #1 on iTunes and continuedly increasing support from radio and streaming platforms, Bieber now has a chance to get his second #1 hit with the 3rd single from his album, serving justice for “Sorry,” which was reduced to a #2 debut and peak by Adele.

With 7.44 million copies sold, Adele’s 25 cements its status as the top-selling album of 2015. It’s the largest sum an album has sold in a single year since 2004, when Usher’s Confessions finished with 7.98 copies sold.

A discount on iTunes allows twenty one pilots to climb into the top 3 and sell 46,000 copies with Stressed Out. The album had debuted at #1 upon its release. Bryson Tiller, whose single “Don’t” is now a top 20 hit on the Hot 100, achieves a new peak with his album, T R A P S O U L, which climbs to #10 and bests the #11 peak it had gotten in its first week in October.
