The Weeknd makes a big jump into the top 3 with “Starboy.” The track sold 88,000 downloads this week (up 22-2 on Digital Songs) and racked up 22.8 million streams. With its fast growing airplay, it will pose a serious threat to the top of the chart in the coming weeks.

Shawn Mendes’ Illuminate debuts at #1 with 121,000 in sales. It’s the second #1 album for Mendes, who released his debut just a year ago.

Luke Bryan’s live EP debuts at #3 with 32,000 copies sold as a digital exclusive. This is his 9th top 10 title. Bruce Springsteen is the other new entry of the week at #5 with Chapter and Verse (27,000 in sales), his 19th top 10 album.

Maxwell’s blackSUMMERs’night re-enters the Billboard 200 at #19 with a big increase in sales to 16,000 copies. The album had debuted at #3 in July. As tickets for his upcoming King and Queen of Hearts Tour with Mary J. Blige became available, the album/ticket bundle came to effect.

Usher claims the #1 spot this week with “No Limit.” He had last reached the top of the chart in 2014 with his own single “Good Kisser” and as a feature on Chris Brown’s “New Flame.” “No Limit” is his 14th R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay #1 hit.
