Migos’ streaming force overtakes “Black Beatles” this week. With 35.9 million plays, “Bad And Boujee” is by far the new #1 song in the US. The track also sold 76,000 digital downloads and increased its radio audience to 20 million listeners.

Viral streaming hits are definitely becoming more common: in the past 4 years this platform has produced three #1 Hot 100 hits, starting with the “Harlem Shake” phenomenon in 2013.

It’s a soundtrack loaded week for the albums chart. With the Moana one being the top selling album in the country (yet at #2 on the Billboard 200). The album sold 44,000 copies this week.

The Weeknd returns to #1 for a second week for Starboy (18,000 sold), while the Sing Soundtrack jumps to #8 after a steady climb since its release. This is the first time in 18 years that 4 soundtrack albums spent a week in the top 10 concurrently.

“Bad And Boujee” also jumps to the top 10 on the R&B chart. Lil Uzi Vert now has two hits on the top 10 as a lead and featured act.
